Description of Organization:
Village Capital uses the power of peer support to build enterprises that change the world. Based on the concept of the village bank in microfinance, we run accelerator programs for early-stage social ventures with scalable potential, focused on peer support. At the end of each program, entrepreneurs assess one another, and the top-ranked receive pre-committed investment from partner investors.

We've run fourteen programs worldwide, including three in India and one in China, and are eager to expand our model across Asia.
